Software Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer to join the Middle/Back
Office development group. The group is responsible for creating
and supporting applications for the entry, tracking, reporting,
clearing, settling, and reconciliation of trades in the U.S. Treasury,
U.S. Agency, Repo, Mortgage Backed Securities, and Corporate Bond
markets.
Functional Responsibilities:
o Work with users to define project specifications
o Design, code and test applications.
o Document functional and technical designs, test and cutover plans,
and operational procedures.
o Resolve production problems, often under stressful conditions.
Requirements:
o Technical skills: Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX, C, Java, scripting (shell,
perl)
o Technical experience: minimum 5 years
o Fixed income experience: minimum 3 years
o Clarity of thought
o Team player
o Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Pluses:
o Technical skills: Oracle Reports, DB Publish, Oracle Application
Server, Oracle DBA, XML, javascript, MQ, SQL Windows
o Good oral and written communications
Must be a US Citizen/Green Card Holder
