The job requires strong knowledge of networking technology such as routing, switching, multicast, network security etc. Degree qualification in computer technology and networking will be beneficial.

Responsibilities to include:
" Defining the strategy
" Defining the architecture and standards
" Leading the high profile and complex designs
" Provide third line support
" Product evaluation and selection
" Vendors and service provider management
" Project management
" Provide detailed documentation (design implementation plans/diagrams)
" Oversee network implementation and administration
" Manage budget and equipment ordering
" Train staff
" Project management (design, develop and implement Network Projects)
" Vendor / service provider management
" Configuration creation and implementation overview
" Product evaluation

Experience Required/Results Expected:
" 5 to 7 years of hands-on CISCO experience (routers/switches)
" Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
" Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, multicast, MPLS and VPN concepts
" Knowledge in multicast technology and deploying multicast architectures is required
" Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus
" Excellent problem solving / analytic abilities
" Project Management experience
" Strong verbal and written communication skills.
" Certification is a plus
" Systems knowledge is a plus
